ESSEX WARRIORS 2018 DBM TOURNAMENT 2nd ROUND RESULTS
& 3rd ROUND DRAW

With the last of the six 2nd Round games being played on Sunday I can now announce the current standings and the 3rd Round draw. Thankfully everyone is now on different VP totals and no one needed to be bumped because they had already played each other. Realistically I am fairly confident that the bottom four players are now out of the running for a top three finish unless some results are flukes. There's certainly all to play for with the top eight players although it will depend on 3rd Round results going in the right order for some of them to have a realistic chance of taking the title this year. For me the surprises of the 2nd Round were the top two results which were quite decisive and not what I had expected to happen. Having seen all the players armies in action and having copies of their lists to study I had not expected these two games to be as one sided as they turned out. For the sake of fairness I always send my opponent my own list as soon as I know the draw so they are not disadvantaged in any way. The BYE army was listed in case anyone had to drop out or there were odd numbers of entrants. So far this has not happened although I have used this army in a few games to get some practice in against a varied list of enemies.
