The Army of Islam

I decided to post a few pictures of my collection of Islamic era Arabic figures.

The immobile baggage, artillery and camels disguised as elephants.

The mobile baggage and tethered camels used as fortifications plus a
rioting mob that is classed as an Irr War Wagon [I] in DBM.

The Tent of the Prophet, with a pair of Khurasanian elephants and some naval elements.

The various correctly coloured flagged command groups for the five main
Islamic factions with some Ghulams to their rear.

More cavalry and one light "horse" on camels.

Abbasid foot in traditional black attire.

The light horse proper.

The camelry including some Tuareg to the left rear on white camels.

Another view of the camelry.

Archers, irregular to the front three to a base with regulars behind.

DBM archers classed as Bow X/O created by combining two Fatimid armies and some spare archers and pikemen in blue. Sadly this troop type vanished from other rules sets so they are limited to being used in Abbasid, Tulunid/Iqshidid and Fatimid DBM armies.

Four colour coordinated groups of Spears, supporting archers and swordsmens.

Fire pot throwers, fire lance blowers and lots of light infantry archers.

Light infantry javelinmen.

Swodsmen that can be used as warband or auxilia.

Various medium infantry classed as Auxilia.

Heavy infantry classed as warband or blades with flagged command groups
with elephant killers at the very front holding some large skull crackers.

The last picture shows Dailami to the rear with marines on the left armed with javelins and crossbows and some really nice Legio Heroica Lutat Macemen and some slingers.

Not shown are some elements of mounted infantry to be used in those armies that may have their infantry on mules or camels.

I also have some scratch built camp fortifications in various styles depending on how they are described in the DBM/DBMM army lists.
